I made the big jump to Mac OSX a couple of months ago. It was quite a mental shift for me at the time, and if you've read the book "Who Moved My Cheese?", you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I have plenty of humorous stories to share about my journey, like the one where I had my desktop projected on a wall during a client meeting while I tried to figure out how to open a zip file. Let's just say I got good at tap dancing.

The buzz this week in the UX community has been on the Microsoft Surface computer. If you're unfamiliar, you can view a video of it here. Now, maybe it's because I'm a Mac person and maybe I'm tending to view this as a strategic move on Microsoft's part to distract a bit of the momentum from Apple's pending iPhone launch, but I'm not as impressed as everyone else seems to be.
