UX/UI Engineer

-- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES >> The UI/UX engineer will lead the charge to develop and champion creative user interface that enhances solution adoption by making it simple to use. He/she will work closely with the individual solutions engineering team to rapidly investigate and analyze requirements, analyze and diagram user profiles and workflows, develop UI paradigm -- and offer highly usable interface solutions. The person must have a passion for user-centric design and a strong communicator. Ability to identify alternative design strategies, assess design viability and rapidly transform business requirements into a user interface design.

The designer UX engineer will be responsible for:
1. Leads development of rich functional prototypes based on mockups and interaction requirements 2. Be able to rapidly prototype 2. Web portal and mobile solution design, look, feel and aesthetics 3. White board brainstorming and rapid prototyping 4. Manage the relationship with the internal and external creative and development teams on the design of the product and web site, develop the style guidelines and the technical implementation 5. Collaborates with Software Engineers and Architecture on front-end integration strategies

SKILLS >> Applications should be able to demonstrate their skills and experience through wireframes, workflow diagrams, personas and use case diagramming
1. Comprehension of user experience, interface design and software development process 2. Knowledge of User Interface Design, User Centered Design & Usability 3. Proven and demonstrable experience developing compelling user experiences on the mobile phones and the web Expert knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, Ajax Techniques 4. Proficiency using PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Flash

EDUCATION >> At 4 Minimum 4 years experience UI/UX engineering – User interface designEducation
BS/MS in Human Factors, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology (or equivalent).
