Overview:
Avenue A | Razorfish is one of the largest interactive agencies in the world and currently have more than 2,000 employees in 20 offices in seven countries (Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States) focusing exclusively on digital marketing and technology. Each office is filled with opportunities for people who want to invent the digital future. It's a big challenge, but it's a big Internet, and there's work to be done.
 
Avenue A | Razorfish is seeking a User Experience Lead with deep experience in the area of Information Architecture. The User Experience Lead will be responsible for leading the project teams on to create compelling, insight-driven solutions. This is one of the most crucial project roles at Avenue A | Razorfish as it requires an ability both to lead the project team and the client through a user-centered design process to develop meaningful experience concepts, and to execute on those concepts.
The Experience Lead is an idea person who can sell "the big idea" to the client, but who also loves getting their hands dirty in the process.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Taking a leadership role in developing the strategy and information architecture of internet solutions
• Understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts
• Working closely with clients to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences
• Leading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing
• Developing user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user research and focus the team's design efforts on the needs of key users

 

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as an information architect and/or interaction designer
• Master's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field, such as library science, industrial design, graphic design, or human-computer interaction 
• Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative environment
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing solutions for the Web
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
• High tolerance for ambiguity matched only by your desire to organize it
• Willingness to travel (locally)
