Scorecards on Payment Reform
Catalyst for Payment Reform pioneered tracking progress on payment reform in the United States.
We have developed and refined a methodology for collecting, analyzing, and categorizing data that shows how we are paying health care providers - which payment methods we are using and how many dollars are flowing through each? Moving forward, we're also committed to linking payment reform to outcomes in the health care system. Check out our previous national and state Scorecards to see where we are and explore our Scorecard 2.0 page to find out where we're going.
Like our previous national and state-level Scorecards on Payment Reform, Scorecard 2.0 will continue to measure how much payment reform there is and of what type. Building off of this base, 2.0 will also measure, at a macro level, the impact that payment reform is having on the health care system by examining 12 new metrics. CPR is currently piloting Scorecard 2.0 in three states: Colorado, New Jersey, and Virginia.
The National Compendium on Payment Reform is a web-based, searchable and sortable, detailed database of private-sector payment reform initiatives across the country.
